Beauty
Pain
Emptiness
Hunger
I see your physical beauty
I see your bright mind
I know your caring aspect
I glimpse your darkness
Hollow
Void
Echoing space
Chamber of oak panelling and parquet floor
Free fall fear
Your smile stops my heart
Your eyes dance with impish devilry
I don’t know your irreasons
I only know my own
Madness
Anxiety
Delusions
Depression
Stress
I see the stained glass window
Letting through light
Blue, red, gold, waterhue stretching across the floor
Dust motes floating in autumn honey glow
Now your shutters are locked and barred
You wander the chill corridor
Ghost of a shadow
A flicker of moth hunger
Sleep gently in tender blood warm blankets
Snuggle deep in amniotic care
The seasons uncurl
The rain
The clouds break
The light in winter is dazzle low
Crisp blue days
But when the shutters can’t be forced
What can you do?
Just wait for the daylight
Photons
Sunlight, starlight, moon reflection
Open air, open life, open soul
Sail between the stars in a diamond and silk clipper ship
Ebony, mahogany, oak
Return to silver spun fields
Rivers of languorous summer days
Dissolve
The shutters are locked and barred
The shutters are locked and barred
The shutters are locked and barred
Do I have the key?
Do you have the key?
Do the doctors have the key?
Do friends have the key?
Will the locks evaporate
Morphed by transient days of ferns uncurling and rhyme
Time
And all, with a photon glacier, will be fine
At least on transient days
Grasp
Cling
Sing
Blink
Blue days
